ALLIANCE22 – MONOCHROMIA at Viennacontemporary 2015

In November 2012 a curatorial group consisting of four Kiev artists Badri Gubianuri, Constantin Roudeshko, Tiberiy Szilvashi and Serge Momot agreed to found a non-commercial educational platform — New Artistic Alliance (later on re-named to [=] Alliance 22).

The objective of founding [=] Alliance 22 was studying and public promotion of non-figurative art in the Ukraine, homeland of world renowned artists such as Kazimir Malevich, David Burliuk, Alexandr Archipenko, Vladimir Tatlin, Alexandra Exter, Vasyl Yermylov and Alexander Bogomazov.

On November 22, 2012 its first event was held — the 1st Artistic Alliance with Serge Momot and Victoria Poleva, a contemporary classical music composer, being the main performers. Since then the Artistic Alliances are held regularly eleven times a year on a pre-fixed date, each 22nd day of every month except August, in a premises best fit to the respective exhibition, courtesy of The Mikhail Bulgakov Literature Museum in Kiev, located at:13, Andriyivsky Uzviz, Kiev, Ukraine. In 2015 Sergey Popov joined the group as a fifth member.

The exhibition is accompanied by a booklet.
